Priests Visit the Dicastery: Dialogue on Formation and Support for Priestly Life
On September 16, a group of priests participating in the Sabbatical Course offered by the ICTE (Institute for Continuing Theological Education), located on the campus of the Pontifical North American College on the Janiculum, paid a visit to the Dicastery. They were accompanied by the course director, Rev. P. Edwin Linton, O.S.B.
The priests, coming from various countries including Australia, Canada, and the United States, were welcomed by H.E. Msgr. Andrés Gabriel Ferrada Moreira, Secretary; Rev. Msgr. Eamonn McLaughlin, Adjunct Undersecretary for Formation; and Revs. David Fons and Gaurav Shroff, Officials.
After a brief presentation on the work and responsibilities of the Dicastery, a lively exchange followed, addressing topics such as the importance of rest, the risks of burnout, and the promotion of priestly vocations. The Secretary highlighted the Dicastery’s role in supporting the vocation, life, and ministry of priests throughout the world.
