Pastoral Practice Course

From October 2024 to May 2025

01 October 2024

"The good shepherd must move as follows: ahead to lead, in the middle to encourage and to remember the smell of the flock, and in the back because the people also have a ‘flair. They indeed have a nose to find new paths for the journey, or to find the way they had lost."

Pope Francis, September 18, 2021

The seats are limited: the Priests, to ensure their participation, are invited

to register now by directly contacting the Dicastery for the Clergy (all the

information is available in the program).

The course is intended to the priests who are finalizing their ongoing formation in Rome and who wish to:

Grow in the awareness of being trainers of the people of God and with the ability to promote vocational and priestly pastoral care in parishes, seminaries, and other diocesan pastoral structures.
Review their personal history through a careful life review under the light of the received gift, to welcome the impulse of the Holy Spirit to sustain their disciples life towards configuration to Christ, the Servant and Good Shepherd.
Deepen their own vocational discernment, the profound motivations, and the very specific aspects of their priestly and ministerial life.
